What Counts as a Warranty Emergency?
A warranty emergency is a problem that needs immediate attention to keep you and your home safe.

What to do if you have an emergency:

Call the trade or utility company right away (plumber, electrician, gas, etc.).

Take quick steps to stop damage if you can do so safely (turn off water, gas, or power).

Try to limit the damage without risking your safety.

Contact your homeowners’ insurance company as soon as possible.

Complete an Emergency Warranty Request Survey
Examples of warranty emergencies:

No heat when it’s below 50°F outside

No electricity at all

No running water

Plumbing leak that requires shutting off all water to the home

Gas leak

Sewer backup that stops the use of sinks, showers, and toilets
